Slide labeling printer

Years ago at the W.G.R.F. (World's Greatest Rail Fan) slide trades in San Bernardino, John C. Benson was selling and trading slides that He had labeled (at that time) with a very expensive dot matrix printer. Now, years later, I am about to go through My thousands of slides with individual labeling. And I don't look forward to it. Anyway, I have emailed and written to John with no response. Also, I asked the dealers at Winterail this year to no avail. Would any of You out there know just what I'm talking about, who made them (or still does), where they can be purchased and what they are going for today? I tried "googling" all relative terms with no results. With a laptop I can get them done rather quickly on My layovers at Winslow if I can just find one. HELP!!!
