I met Glenn "poood" Steele in 1978 when We both worked switch engines in the San Diego 22nd Street yard. Quick with wit and always a story Glenn was an exceptional employee. As I am nearing retirement I can not help but be upset with a life snuffed out by someones careless actions, and I truly hope manslaughter charges are brought to the truck driver. Glenn will not have the chance to have a fruitful retirement. I can still remember working with Him in the old narrow track, 5mph at best 1944 built yard slogging along to the wonderful sounds of Glenn going through the notches on old CF-7s.

Thank You Glenn and to Your family, Glenn was THE BEST ! ! !
