Gevo's into LA basin

Got a question for those with the knowledge: Last couple times watching trains on Cajon Pass, I noticed that on the BNSF they pretty much running nothing but Gevo's in and out of the LA basin. Yet through Tehachapi, I can see almost anything. I thought maybe something to do with emissions. Does anyone know if there is an actual reason behind this??
