In Japan, a car I rented issued a verbal alert that a railroad crossing is coming up and you need to stop. In Japan all vehicles stop unlike the USA. A useful feature for the GM teen driver system would be an alert to not go around crossing gates and to look before crossing rail. It should be a part of car navi systems too.
