The "Railway Negative Exchange" was located for many, many years in Moraga, CA. The owner's mame gets confusing from here. I think it was 'Warren K. Miller' ... There was another Warren Miller in early Bay Area railfan circles as well. One of them (not sure which one), had the nickname of "Birney" Miller...

After the particular MILLER passed away (the one who owned the REX operation as its nickname was known), the photo and negative collection was passed to his nephew who lives in San Jose, CA.
His nephew elected to keep "REX" in operation and at last count, has amassed some 500,000+ negatives.
"Charles Smiley Presents" and his video consortium frequently uses photos from the "REX" collection as do others.
There are probably some folks on this Board or T.O. who know how to contact "REX" in case any of you are searching for something special... I, myself do NOT!!
