R.I.P Stan Freberg

Somewhere I probably still have several of his records. He did a great series of ads for radio demonstrating its advantages over TV, think imagination. He also did ones for his church, which one escapes me, but they were funny and thought provoking at the same time.

A few lines stick in my mind:
"Why by then the whole world could end.... Yes, it could."
"Now try doing that on television."
"How now Brown governor."

You had to be there.
