Near the bridge over the tracks. Historic site of Dewitt Station, original station at the original spur whcih was used to build the AFB here in the 30's.



This was part of signs on either side of the ROW used by SFB as warnings to hobos transiting through the area to the hobo camp.

Hobo camp was likely in this area here, on hill or in flatlands

This was common area for troubled teens at St. Vincent's school to smoke and travel up and down tracks to watch AFB jets take off.

Approaching St. Vincent's. Off in the distance is the full ballast train. Six cars. Probably the first proper rail cars--not motorcars or MOW stuff--down here in thirty years.
