15 people protesting police brutality arrested near downtown L.A.

LOS ANGELES >> About 15 people protesting police brutality were arrested Tuesday for failing to heed a police dispersal order near downtown Los Angeles.
About 100 demonstrators gathered at Los Angeles Police Department headquarters in downtown Los Angeles in the early afternoon as part of a multi-city protest.
They then marched south until getting to Washington Boulevard where they decided to block the Blue Line train and car traffic as a way to draw attention to their cause.
At Broadway and Washington Boulevard several protesters sat down on the tracks as Blue Line trains approached from both directions about 5 p.m.
