Security National owns the depot site too? Learn something new every day here. It's a sad situation all around up there. Cruising the Bay on the "Madeket" is about the only thing left to do. The timber industry has never been good about preserving any of their "heritage" in Humboldt County......always running from environmental criticism or launching campaigns against the parks. Pacific Lumber was one of the best until the raiders gutted the company. If it wasn't for the Victorian homes in Eureka (one of the best districts outside of San Francisco) and the State and National Parks their would be little to offer the visitor.
