PURPOSE:
SI-00: Change station page. Add siding at CP SP984 (ACE), length 1424'
SI-03: Part 1: Add siding/turnout speed at (ACE), 15 MPH.
Part 2: Add Turnout speed, CP SP084 to Ace siding, 15 MPH.

Recent changes:
SI-03: Add new Part 4 listing areas where trains identified as "Key
Train - Crude Oil" or "Key Train - High Hazard Flammable Train" must
not exceed 40 MPH.

Following changes in effect at 0730 on April 20, 2015:
SI-00: Change station page. Add CP SP984 between El Pinal and
Stockton.
SI-15: Add information regarding signal and switch location changes

Following changes in effect at 0900 on April 1, 2015:
SI-RD: Change radio display information.
SI-15: Add dispatcher telephone number information.

Subdivision instructions not modified by this General Order remain in
effect.

SI-06 - RCL OPERATIONS
Following information regarding new RCL Zone 1 in effect at 1200 on
December 4, 2014.
Bakersfield:
Zone 1
Begins north of Kern Jct Yard Lead at each end of the 50 Lead between
Kern Jct. and Baker Street.

Zone Status Contact:
Signs / Remote Control Operator.
Channel: 088-088.

Additional Information:
Zone limits are announced by flip signs at both ends of the 50 Lead
and on Track 53 to enter the 50 lead. All 3 signs must be in the "Zone
Active" position when Zone 1 is active.

Change Zone 2 information at Fresno to read:
Zone 2:
South end: Beginning at the clearance point of tracks 17, 818, 519,
and 721 on the "PFE lead"; tracks 11 and 10 on the "B lead"; tracks 5
and 4 on the "A lead"; extending southward on track 112 ending 730
feet before the end of track 112.

SI-08 - RULES ITEMS
Add the following Quiet Zone effective 0001 on September 06, 2013:
SSI Item 9: Applies at and between MP 38.56 (Point of switch
on Fresno Subdivision off Martinez Subdivision) to MP 43.64
(Fruitridge Road).

Add:
Rule 31.8.7:
The following instructions are in place to streamline crew changes at
Bakersfield, minimize train stalls, and reduce BIT/UDE's over the
Fresno subdivision while continuing to save fuel on our DP trains.

Southward Trains Scheduled to West Colton:
Between Roseville and Bakersfield, engineer must set up power
configuration per Mojave Subdivision TPA limits. Before arriving Saco,
crews must ensure that locomotives are working properly to minimize
train stalls south of Bakersfield.

Northward trains departing Bakersfield may leave power set-up per
Mojave Subdivision requirements regardless of DG shutdown status.

Units left online that show in DG status must be reported as a status
code exception.

In an effort to save fuel and improve train handling, trains with rear
helper must operate using independent mode "Fence up" not to exceed
throttle 1 on rear DP consist.

Trains not subject to these requirements must comply with ABTH Rule
31.8.7.

SI-11 - INDUSTRIAL LEADS
Add to Ione Industrial Lead information:
Radio Channel: 048-048

Add the following to all Industrial Leads:
All movements must not foul a crossing equipped with automatic
warning devices until the device has been operating long enough to
provide warning and the crossing gates, if equipped, are fully
lowered. Movements are on other than main track or siding.

Tidewater Industrial Lead:
Controlled signal governing movements from the Tidewater Industrial
Lead to the Fresno Subdivision at CP SP115 changed to a left view and
a dual control derail has been installed within the OS.

SI-15 - ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS
Following changes will be in effect at 0730 on April 20, 2015:
CP SP084: Signals for southward movements relocating 450' north.
Dual control switch accessing the ACE Facility is relocating
from MP 84.3 to MP 84.2.

Between North Goshen and North Bakersfield, on April 1, 2015, crews
will need to monitor both old and new frequencies between 0900 and
1300 while train defect detector radios are being cut-over.
