There was actually quite a bit of coverage of it when it was still
in use, especially since it seemed like the the last 15 years or so there was
always a threat of mothballing it or abandonment. Here are a couple of
photos taken by a friend at Alturas in what was I think February of 1989.
I only got to visit the line once myself and treasure the handful of pics
from that trip.
