Other railroads have used and schemes logos similar to those used by railroads no longer in existence.

Several short lines and regional railroads used various versions of PRR and its keystone For example, Ohio Central painted a pair of F-units in the PRR tuscan with gold stripes scheme and red keystones.

Lycoming Valley's locomotives faithfully recreate the Reading Green & Yellow scheme including the Black Diamond.

Iowa Interstate's logo is similar to the logo used by Rock Island (also a UP predecessor) and it has several locomotives in a Rock Island-like scheme.

The Bloomer Shipper's Connecting Railroad Co uses the attractive red and grey scheme which once graced Burlington Route diesels, although the logo is different.
