Years ago the White Pass Alcos on their way back to Skagway almost fell off their barge at Cape Mendocino and were brought into the Schneider Dock at Eureka, about 3 blocks from these locos. Those engines were still on their trucks and probably poorly tied down leaving Central America. THA brought passenger cars and one 44 tonner over 299. The owner has a yard in Turlock, probably also "Bugg's" yard in Willits. My guess they go either way in pieces?
