No, no, no! Area 41, east of Trona, is where the
Air Force is testing the rocket-powered, high-speed
passenger trains for the soon-to-be-announced
Los Angeles - San Francisco rapid-rail corridor.

Believe it or not, 15 minutes from when the coach
starts moving in Los Angeles until it stops in San
Francisco. This train will travel on a new and
underground right-of-way, starting in a now boarded
up old Pacific Electric tunnel in downtown Los
Angeles, and emerging just south of Telegraph Hill
in San Francisco.

Some minor operating details have yet to be solved.
