LA Metrolink cut this morning's Riverside line service back to Pedley (bus bridge to Riverside) due to flood damage. That would be the UP line through the Basin. All other Metrolink lines were working normally this morning according to press release.

There were a lot of road closures and slide cleanups in the San Timoteo Canyon area yesterday, continuing into this morning. Presumably UP participated in the fun. OTOH, the main detours for I-10 traffic are over Cajon and out 40, then connect to 10 via US 95 on the AZ side of the river; or the state highways along Salton Sea from Indio down to the 8, then east. The latter suggests little damage in the Salton Sea area, and the former suggests little damage to BNSF. As usual with desert flash floods, they're bad in spots (you really want to be elsewhere) but even a short distance away may be just interesting.

Regional radar (http://radar.weather.gov/Conus/pacsouthwest.php) at 1828 PDT looks like things have cleared up in most of SoCal. A few spots over the Sierra are about all that's showing.
