It is indeed Steinman, OR., on the Siskiyou line. The 2nd picture appears in John Signor's book Rails in the Shadow of Mount Shasta. I don't recall if Steinman siding is still there, ( what some have assumed was double track ), however the highway version of Tehachapi Loop is still there. It is currently Oregon Highway 273, a few miles South of Ashland.
