The WURA board has said all along that it will never pull up the rails. Both counties seem to be in agreement on that. Whether the entire line is upgraded for excursion/passenger service remains to be seen. Meanwhile, there are the occasional speeder runs and the Railrider operation, both referred to in this thread. Also, there's an active program to have a trail with rails.
