BOB2: FAA is WAY behind the power curve on drone regulation/restriction. While temporary restrictions on airspace are adhered to by the vast majority of pilots, there is currently NO mechanism to convey FAA airspace restrictions to drone operators, because FAA is still trying to figure out how to regulate them, let alone inform them! In California, CalFire has taken the lead to get messages out to the public about drones being bad in fire zones, by utilizing public relations spokespersons on TV ads. FAA public outreach? (Silence, crickets chirping...)
