Yeah, what Loopy said. And although some shot stretches of two tracks will be created the main emphasis is to get passing locations up to the 8,000 to 9,000 foot minimum that SP established years ago in the Valley.
Cliff and Walong (the loop) are top priorities. Not sure which section is next.
I don't know if it's still true but BNSF and Caltrans are footing the bill. U Pee all the way get to maintain it.
