The Marble Valley fire got pretty close to the KFR, I could see the fire from my place. But, I don't think the fire line hit the tracks.

South of the interchange with BNSF at Chewelah, the Carpenter Road fire is something to watch, as they are worried it will spread toward Springdale. While still a ways away, it grew by nearly 10,000 acres in one night due to winds. They are worried about winds tonight too.
