Amtrak San Joaquin 713 vs. Truck

I am surprised this hasn't been reported here yet, but Amtrak 713, a San Joaquin (Bakersfield to Oakland) train, hit a truck near Orwood Resort today. Here is a link to the article: [eastcountytoday.net]
For those not familiar with the area, Orwood Resort is in the Delta region of California, along the BNSF Stockton Sub. It is located about 1/2 way between the Stockton and Antioch Amtrak stations. Although the article reports it as being in Brentwood, the area is actually unincorporated farmland (between Discovery Bay and Knightsen).
I am familiar with this crossing. It is a private road controlled only by stop signs. Google map location is here: [www.google.com]
