> I thought Mr Obum said all is well!!!

So you dare to question the obomination in the white house? What are you trying to do - start another flame war on here?

You are right. He has said this - Many times! But things ARE going just peachy fine. From his perspective at least. His agenda is coming right along as planned; the costs to you and me (such as the increasingly large layoffs you mention) being quite unimportant - and certainly un-newsworthy enough that he can ignore them with impunity.

You WILL need to learn to like it, because his brazen contempt of Congress continues to go unquestioned, by too many noisy and often blinded partisans. Thus his radical agenda will continue on - since there is no one left who can effectively oppose him. All that his opposition can do - it seems (even though in the majority) is to provoke government shutdowns; because the administration inevitably orders most government offices closed every time that same majority in Congress doesn't go along; followed of course by a quick capitulation by his opponents.

A pretty effective strategy actually. But if such administrative action is not outlawed soon; then for all the negligible difference it will make, he might as well just dissolve parliament, err uh, Congress; and get on with his inevitable agenda - like it or not.

OH WAIT - didn't somebody somewhere -- do that once before?

And wasn't it less than a 100 years ago, even?

And what were the horrific consequences of that again. . . . . . .

Oh how quick we forget!
