An anecdote shared by McCormack a long time ago involved his being asked during an interview by a reporter what was the funniest thing he ever saw while involved with 4449 operations. Doyle thought for a moment and said the funniest thing he ever saw was in Florida after the AFT operations while doing an Amtrak excursion. While sitting in the hole on a meet, "Baby Huey" had gotten down and went into a near-by orange orchard, loaded up the front of his shirt, and, while holding up the shirt basket-fashion, tried to climb back up the embankment. While in the process of stumbling and fumbling up the embankment, Yag lost his pants and there stood, pants around his ankles, to the roar of laughter of the excursion crowd. Yag just shrugged it off. Memory fails me here so I don't remember if he kept all the oranges or not. Someone out there should know the whole story and can add to this.
