actually garden state boulevard (gs) runs parallel to yupee's mainline from about a mile
north of their fresno yard to fowler, known as "motel row", the best area is around the
intersection of shaw avenue & gs blvd, as shaw has a 3-4 mile stretch of fast foods resturants between highway 99 and gs blvd, including a costco, as far as madera goes, their motel row
is on the west side of both the freeway and up's tracks, with a tree line in between the
motel row and the freeway and the tracks, the only motel with a semi view (thru the trees)
is motel 8, and as far as bnsf goes, good luck, they are 5 miles east of the madera city
limits, out in the middle of nowhere, high crime area, easy pickens, matter of a fact
amtrak won't let a passenger disembark a train after the sun goes down,if your ride is not
waiting for you, you have to go to fresno, and be picked up there, a fact not published anywhere,
as far as bnsf in fresno, they go thru the heart of the city, not much there except a couple
of high priced hotels, and don't be out at night,
