Barber needed on upcoming Northern Cal fan trip

Greetings List,
Am in need of barber to cut hair on upcoming fan trip Oct. 10-12. The Overland Trail ('49, PS club lounge for SP as their 2981), last operating, fully functional barbershop car is part of the consist. The trip will travel from Emeryville to NorCal on a circle trip (up one way and return another). The barber incumbent should be clean cut (representing railroad grooming standards of the 40s/50s), comfortable cutting hair in a moving railroad environment and an adventure seeker. The Overland Trail barbershop still sports an upper berth for the barber who will take advantage of it as our trip is three days long. Barber will enjoy lunch as is served to the passengers aboard the Overland, but will be responsible for his own dinners and breakfast (at our points of layover). Barber can charge what the market will bear, but 10 to 15 dollars a cut might be recommended. Barber needs his own personal tools, but the shop is equipped with towels, bib, neck wraps, tonics, barbicide, etc. I cannot guarantee how much interest there would be, nor potential income, but past barbers claim to have the "time of their life" aboard the railroad barbershop, it most certainly will be an adventure! If you cut hair yourself, or can suggest a candidate, we would be most appreciative. Contact: 714 546 6923
