Last Wednesday afternoon I saw either a MRVEU or MRVPW at Girvan, just south of Redding, with 6 GE's. It wasn't that heavy of a train and I presumed it was a power move. Maybe more power is failing on the road, so extra locomotives are being added to the power consist?
