My wife and I stayed there in 1994 on a road trip to Arizona. Funky place at the time! Our room was across the hall from the local USGS office. This was before the place was restored in recent years. Dining area was the most colorful room. There were Santa Fe steam photos in the lobby from one of the great Western photographers.
Keep the swastikas on the exterior! Hardly a Nazi symbol in the context of the American Southwest.
