The Iron Horse Inn Bed & Breakfast, in South Cle Elum, WA., has 4 cabeese to choose from. Several are set up for a family of up to 4, while 2 are for a couple. My favorite is the Southern Pacific bay window hack, complete with hot tub !!! This caboose was rescued from certain death at the West Seattle Steel Mill, where it was being used as a employee break room.
The Iron Horse Inn main building is also quite interesting, as it was built by Milwaukee Road as a crew bunk house ( S. Cle Elum was a crew change point ). Owners Doug & Mary Pettis are quite aware of the building's history, and the entire building is full of railroadiana and historical photos. Word is the Inn is for sale, so I don't know what the future may hold.
