Derek Whaley, Author of Santa Cruz Trains, posted the following in response to my post about the naming of the passenger cars.

They could also be named after historic stops along the Davenport/Santa Cruz branch. I'm thinking Orby, Wilder, Scaroni, Enright, Lagos, Robroy, Farley, Opal, Seabright, Cristo, Ellicott, Nuga, or Bandero. It could be fun!
