You really want to make this political? OK, let's rumble. It's revolting that there are so many conservatives who oppose abortion on the basis of preserving the "sanctity of life" yet they are at best indifferent and at worst hostile towards refugees and immigrants. Either the "sanctity of life" applies to everyone (something as artificial as a national border should have no bearing on anyone's humanity) or they should just drop the "pro-life" label and admit they are merely anti-abortion and have little interest in the welfare of people from other nations.
I am appalled by the commentary following that article with so many advocating outright murder of refugees.
