The last time I had a beer and burger and watched trains at Fullerton, I had a great time, dozens of freight and passenger trains at rush hour, a beautiful sunset.... Thousands of commuters coming in and out, hundreds of folks having dinner and going to the bars were what I mostly saw at the Fullerton Station. I didn't see too many homeless, though, that day, as I recall? Maybe they were all just hiding from me on that day?
Much of this is about an ancient proposal to house 3751 and a museum. It is quite dated, and has gone about as far as the San Berdoo proposals, for this. But, at least it's a good excuse to vent some rage against the vast evil conspiracy, right? Or, do some of you just need a prostate exam, and/or proper medication?
It is always interesting to see how many folks like to use Altamont to spew their apparent hatred of all things the CSRM, their disdain for trains, their dislike of Fullerton, and their general dislike of anything that anyone tries to do to preserve or protect our rail heritage....?
Of course, maybe it's just me, but I actually do like trains....
