It's probably a San Diegan. Check out that LONG BOARD the surfer has by him !!!
I recall Santa Fe re-routed the former Grand Canyon, trains # 23 & 24, to the Second District in the mid - 1960's. I'm trying to establish a date for the photo. Harbor Blvd. still crossed the tracks at grade just West of Milepost 165; I believe the underpass opened in 1970. Does anyone know when the packing house burned down ???
