Very interesting posting. The movie station scenes were made in Woonsocket R.I. There is a hollow metal image of hachiko sitting on the circular garden plot and facing the street.. the old P & W station which has no city identification board has biz offices in one end and no sign of a ticket office.. kind of a run down lonely part of town.. no activity as staged in the movie..no hot dog stand.. but what a display of true loyalty a rare declining quality in humanity..
