I've heard that he is still whining.....

And, I've heard he's still promising to pass a mostly highway (mostly developer?) oriented transportation sales tax measure, with a lot less consensus, good will, and community support than GG had.

And, that he's certainly still nowhere near as effective or forthright as Ginger Gherardi was....

Maybe, the Board thinks another five years of OJT will somehow change that?

It's really too bad for the Ventura County taxpayers, as he has wasted their limited resources on this petty and pathetic attempt to force F&W out, as well.

I do agree that Dave could use some help with the marketing of the tourism and website side of things. You can't trust the website for current reliable information. I made that mistake, along with some other folks, and went out one weekend with my girlfriend, to find no trains operating, as had been indicated on the website.
