Metrolink Perris Valley Line - options for overnighting

If it wont be possible to do a same-day round trip from the LA/OC area, it looks like one will have to overnite at Perris. A search on hotels.com reveals the: Red Lion Inn & Suites Perris, 480 S Redlands Ave. 1.3 miles from the downtown Perris station and 1.7 miles from the South Perris station.
