You all should have seen all the action going yesterday on the "UP" Santa Barbara
coast sub. We had the IOALBR-17 with the UP 5001 South on the point heading southward yesterday afternoon with those good ole' SLO guys on the headend, with a CSX engine in the 4 Engine consist. And then they had the AMPEPR-17 heading south with a whole lotta of MTY
auto racks, didn't get the numbers of the power, but a CSX Engine on the "point".

LOF67 had to be re-crewed and they had a LOF-66, A UP ballast train(don't know where it was going) LOF-65 ran too. PTC test train was UP and running, so UP is really train to meet the FRA's mandatory directive to get the PTC up and running. 2 work trains running on the coast too. Ahhhhh , just like the old days of the good ole' SP when old heads like
Stellar Nugent, John D. Edwards and Joe Riveria, RJ"BOB, Harris and Virlon Smoot, Harvey Grant, Louie Truijllo, Larry Self, Mr Fog Horn Fagen, and Jim Guerin, Larry Feerdeen and Railfans best friend and one of SP great Conductors Brian M. Black.

UP might be doing something with the coast line with more traffic soon, and we all hope!
