Today I received a complimentary copy of the Altamont Press Northwest Region #8 timetable. I must say it is a work of art. Being in the railroad business I really didn't realize how many shortlines have popped up recently and Mr. Curlee and his staff have certainly gone the distance in providing an accurate yet concise tabulation of the various Class I through III operations.

While I certainly appreciate the complimentary copy in exchange for providing data for publication, I still am going to buy a second copy due to its' value to our company. I urge all AP readers to do the same....this is certainly a "labor of love" and the staff needs to be compensated by our patronage. This isn't just a "class I runs the excursion...we take the pictures" affair; we need to put our money where our cameras normally would be!!
