We went to National Metals on TI all the time in the sixtes with Mom and Dad. Saw a SP steam engine fenced off in a small yard. This unit ended up in Lomita CA. Full of worn out gons full of scrap. From across the channel in about 1969 saw a few SP F units that most likely were to be cut up soon. My last visit was in 1985 with a few SP U25B's and a ATSF Alco S-? unit. Also one intact PE black flat car was on site. One yellow yard switcher was former PE figured that one out from a PE book a few years ago.
