Interesting that they have Matt Rose talking about a combination (or lack of it) now. Could there be competition for NS? Could CP have triggered the Final Round of mergers? Because if CP's activity brings BNSF (Warren B) into the ballgame it could do that; If BNSF does go after NS successfully, UP will almost certainly have to absorb CSX to remain in the game. Leaving CP out in the cold unless they can get US and Canadian regulators to approve CP+CN. Tut tut Bill A.
