Had to laugh at the comment about the Tenderloin Express. As if Those People can't get there now on the bus ... why bother with the longer and more expensive (probably) trip on the ferry and train?

Also ... 15 minute headways? Commenters seem to think this is a light rail line. Does SMART have enough equipment for that even assuming enough passing sidings? Maybe for very brief periods during the commute when all the trains are fleeting in one direction, but not for long unless there are a lot of places to park them at the end of the line. Mostly single track, remember?

Actually, having the funding make it this far in a generally anti-transit, anti-train Congress is a Good Thing. Hope it remains in the signed law.
