The RC&BT Heisler was Westside Lumber's number 3. The locomotive was built as a narrow gauge locomotive and converted to standard gauge around 1947. RC&BT acquired the locomotive in 1963, along with the narrow gauge trucks from sister number 4, which Westside had retained after scrapping that locomotive around 1950. Upon arrival at Felton, the number 4's trucks were installed on the locomotive.

The number 3's sister, the narrow gauge number 2, is on display in Tuolumne.
