There is no conflict with reuse and SMART since they don't own the stations. But SMART will change the potential uses, neighborhood character, and the development environment around the station.

This sounds like a reasonable process which is taking various inputs into consideration. But. platform height of SMART really has nothing to do with whether the station building is preserved or not, that is just the usual nonsense thrown into the mix because SMART is so inherently EVIL, just to stir the pot.

Hopefully, they can find a mix of uses for the existing historic structure that is able to preserve and maintain the depot. Not always the case, but time will tell.
