Based on my previous opening day experiences (SRO in cars and stations), I'm staying the hell away!
The only thing I might miss possibly are some unique Metro souvenirs, or not.

Perhaps Sunday March 6 the line would not be as crowded ....

For a non-SGV resident, any nearby local sites worth visiting? TIA!
