PDX...you were really close, physically too!
In late 1997 a video production company setup a scene at the Vancouver Washington Amtrak station to film a sequence for (unknown game at this time, either Panasonic 3DO or Phillips CD-I gaming system) a role playing game.
The station name was on the line of the fictitious railroad titled the "Chandler Hammett & Cain". Chandler, Hammett, and Cain were famous and popular Hollywood screen writers. This 'railroad' and station name were nice 'tip-of-the-hat' to their legacy.
