One of the best rail-war movies ever made.

Emperor of the North Pole, with my dad's old business partner, Ernie Borgnine as the world's meanest conductor, is the best pure railroad movie.

One of the final Nazi art trains to leave Paris was captured, by the troops of Colonel Rothschild heading up a Free French armored brigade, just outside of Paris. When his men opened the door to one to the cars to show him what they had captured, there in front of him was a painting from his estate in Bordeaux. His Catholic wife and children had been sent to a concentration camp and murdered by the Nazi's.
