Politicians somehow screwed up Angels Flight? Do you really know what you are talking about? Or is this just something you pulled out of the usual place these kind of stories come from? Or did you hear this third hand from you don't remember who? It's BS either way.

Because if you actually knew the history of the Angels Flight fiasco, then you'd know that it's really too bad that the private non-profit group that restored Angels Flight was run by fools, who listened to other incompetent fools, who did away with the counterbalance system to "save" money, and had two serious wrecks, as a result of that foolishness, including one that actually killed someone....... Pesky facts......

It has now finally been taken over by MTA, an organization for which I am often known to share no particular love, but at least they haven't managed to kill anyone, so far.....
