The first implementation of this is intended to fill in the gaps to allow peaking (mainly gas turbine) generators to come up to speed. It provides a maximum of 15 minutes of power, but that is all that is required for this purpose.

There are plans for larger systems but they will have to wait to see how the first system succeeds.
