It's part of the company that was originally International Air Academy, a trade school for the airline industry (gate agents, rampers, flight attendants -- basically everything except pilots, dispatchers and mechanics). They branched out into the hotel and restaurant fields about 15 years ago, then into wind turbines and railroads about ten years ago. Founder and CEO Arch Miller, a longtime Vancouver mover-and-shaker, just announced his retirement last week.
