This is terrible news for a lot of western steam locos such as
the ATSF 3751, ATSF 2926, SP 4449, SPS 700, and MILW 261.
SP 4449 just got done with her 1472 day--15 year boiler work last year 2015 and has yet to have a mainline excursion.
Very very very SAD news for us mainline steam train fans
IT will be very very interesting to see what happens in future years.
I wonder if the already contracted MILW 261 June 2016 trips will go forward ????????????????????????????
