Very sad. Gentrification is alive and well in Berkeley.

My father took me to ACE's basement in Berkeley when I was very young about thirty years ago. I recently took my young son of about the same age there recently and I couldn't drag him out.
I will miss this location. I hope the new location doesn't screw the hobby department but talking to several people over the last six months has indicated it won't even remotely have the same charm.
